1. Who we are
Jack Vegas is the website at jack-vegas.net. In these rules, "we" and "us" mean Jack Vegas, and "you" means anyone visiting or playing. You can reach us at hello@jack-vegas.net.
2. Agreeing to these rules
By using the site you accept these house rules, our privacy notice and our cookie policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
3. Adults only
You must be 18 or over to use Jack Vegas. The site is intended for people in the United Kingdom. We ask your age when you first arrive; answering untruthfully breaks these rules. If we learn that someone under 18 is using the site, they must stop.
4. A social casino, not a gambling service
Jack Vegas offers casino-style games for entertainment only. No real-money gambling takes place. You cannot stake, deposit, win or withdraw money, and there are no prizes, rewards or vouchers of any real-world value.
Success at these games does not mean you would succeed at real-money gambling. The odds and rules here are explained on every game page and may differ from those offered elsewhere.
5. Virtual coins
- Coins are a play-only counter. They have no cash value and are not money, e-money, cryptocurrency or any kind of token or asset.
- Coins cannot be bought, sold, transferred, traded, gifted, withdrawn or exchanged for anything, on this site or anywhere else.
- You receive 1,000 coins when you sign the guestbook, can collect a 500-coin top-up once every 24 hours, and are refilled to 1,000 automatically if your balance drops below 25 coins.
- Coins are stored in your own browser. If your browser data is cleared, you check out, or you switch device, your balance is gone and cannot be restored.
- We may change the amounts, the games or the way coins work at any time. Because coins have no value, no compensation is due for any change or loss.
6. Nicknames
Your nickname must be 2 to 16 characters and is only shown to you, on your own device. Please still keep it civil: do not use other people's names, slurs or anything you would not say out loud at a motel front desk.
7. Fair use
Please do not try to interfere with the site, overload it, probe it for weaknesses, scrape it at scale, or use it for anything unlawful. Editing the game code in your own browser only changes your own copy of the page and wins you nothing, because there is nothing to win.
8. The games
Game results are produced in your browser using its built-in cryptographic random number generator. Rules, payouts and long-run returns are described on each game page and on Odds and ends. If a fault ever makes a game behave differently from its published rules, the published rules are what we intended, and we will fix the fault once we know about it.
9. Our content
The design, text, graphics and code of Jack Vegas belong to us or are used with permission. You are welcome to link to any page. Please do not copy the site or pass it off as your own.
10. Availability and liability
We provide Jack Vegas as it is, for free, and cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these rules limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Not affiliated
Jack Vegas is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any casino, hotel, resort or gambling operator in Las Vegas or anywhere else. References to Las Vegas describe a style and an era, not a business.
12. Responsible play
If playing stops being fun, please stop and take a look at Play smart. The National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133 at any hour.
13. Changes
We may update these rules from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated rules apply.
14. Law
These rules are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
